Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, widely known as Mr Funny or Sabinus, was seen applauding Victor Boniface, Soccernet.ng reports.
In a video shared on the comedian’s Instagram Story, Sabinus praised the footballer after witnessing his goal-scoring prowess in a football game.
Boniface’s stellar season at Bay Arena has seen him notch 11 goals and provide six assists in 16 appearances across various competitions.
The 22-year-old’s consistent brilliance earned him the Bundesliga Player of the Month title for August and secured the Rookie of the Month award for consecutive months.
His exceptional performances in the Europa League, where he claimed the top scorer award, further highlighted his talent and boosted his reputation in Germany.
Sabinus, in the video, hailed Boniface as “too good” both in real life and in games, emphasizing his remarkable abilities.
The Super Eagles forward reshared the comedian’s video on his social media page, captioning it with “My Oga at the top.”
Boniface, having played for Nigeria against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, aims to continue his impressive performance for Bayer Leverkusen when they face Werder Bremen.
