Former Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger has shown his support for Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface by gifting him a signed Real Madrid jersey, Soccernet.ng reports.

Rudiger’s admiration for Boniface’s style was evident when he mirrored the Nigerian forward’s celebration during Germany’s 2-2 draw against Mexico in a recent international friendly.

Rudiger even shared a video of his celebration on social media, tagging Boniface and expressing his admiration with the caption, ‘I like that, Boniface’.

Just a month after this gesture, Boniface excitedly revealed on social media that he received a personally signed Real Madrid shirt from Rudiger, captioning the moment with a heartfelt ‘Thanks a lot, big bro’.
