Watch: Enugu Rangers land in style as they tackle Remo stars in the second 2023-24 NPFL tie

Seven-time Nigeria Professional Football League Champions, Enugu Rangers, are set poised to take all three points as they take on Remo-Stars.

Rangers International Football Club, popularly known as Enugu Rangers, stunned fans on social media with their grand gesture before they left their camp ahead of their NPFL game, Soccernet.ng reports.

Fidelis Ilechukwu’s men travelled to Ikenne to face Daniel Ogunmodede’s Remo-Stars as the curtain-raiser for the Ikenne faithfuls since they couldn’t play their game against Rivers United last weekend, due to the latter’s involvement in continental football.

The ex-Plateau United manager took over the reins at Rangers ahead of the 2023/2024 NPFL season, and his fashion sense seems to have rubbed off on his players in little to no time.

Fidelis, 45, is well-known to always wear a suit on the touchline, just like his Remo-Stars counterpart, Daniel Ogunmodede.

On the club’s official social media account, they posted a video of the players just before they left their camp in Enugu, as they travelled in grand style.

Rangers secured all three points in their league-opening encounter against Doma United. Goals from Kalu Nweke and Austine Onyemaechi breathed life into Coach Fidelis’ start at the club, as he hopes to get the better of last season’s runner-up at their home ground.

On the other hand, after ending the season in second place last season, Remo Stars coach, Daniel Ogunmodede has urged his team to do one better and go all the way to win the league this term. Both teams face off today by 4 pm.
