Victor Boniface: Hot Super Eagles forward shares goal chart with Kane, Bellingham, others in top 5 most goals

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have enjoyed their best-ever attacking start to a Bundesliga season with Victor Boniface leading the line with goals.

Super Eagles forward, Victor Okoh Boniface, has been ranked amongst the top ten best attacking players this season after his exploits with Leverkusen, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 22-year-old striker has been instrumental to Die Werkself’s Bundesliga title charge this season, with Alonso’s men making the top spot theirs after seven matchdays.

They’ve also scored the most goals in the league, and have conceded the least number of goals as well, remaining rock solid at both ends of the pitch.

In ratings released by Whoscored, the former Royale Union Saint-Gilloise goalscorer ranks 4th on the list of the players with the highest ratings in Europe this season.

Vfb Stuttgart striker, Sehrou Guirassy takes the number one spot without question. The Guinean has taken the Bundesliga by storm by leading the top-scorer chart with thirteen goals from just seven games, averaging almost two goals per game.

It is a new record for the 27-year-old striker as well, having never scored more than eleven goals in a league campaign throughout his career. He has reached new heights, with the season only just starting.

Jude Bellingham occupies second place after a great start to life with Real Madrid has seen the Birmingham-born lad score eight goals in eight games.

Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane is in third place, with Boniface following closely after scoring seven goals and assisting two in just seven games.

In 5th position is Inter’s Lautaro Martinez. Jonas Hoffmann, Matías Soulé Malvano, Harry Kane, James Maddison and Kylian Mbappé, make a list of the top ten highest-rated players in Europe this season.

Nigerians home and abroad will be anticipating Boniface in action as Nigeria take on Mozambique and Saudi Arabia during the International break.
