Super Eagles: Osimhen leads list of Nigeria’s most valuable players alongside Awoniyi and Boniface

With Nigerian players lighting up the football world every weekend and on the biggest stage, the value of the Super Eagles squad has increased.

Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, leads Nigeria’s list of their most valuable footballers, with Taiwo Awoniyi and Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface included as well, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Ballon d’Or nominee had an exceptional season with Napoli last term, winning the league, the Serie A Golden Boot, and reaching a Champions League quarter-final place with the club

His exploits with the Gli Azzurri didn’t go unnoticed and saw him linked with Chelsea, Manchester United, and even Real Madrid, but his asking price couldn’t be met by any of these sides.

Soccernet.ng earlier reported that the Super Eagles of Nigeria have become one of the most valuable national teams in the world, breaking into the top ten, just behind the Netherlands. Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, and England were among the top ten as well.
