Moffi in, Orban out; Dele-Bashiru gets maiden Super Eagles call-up ahead of Saudi Arabia, Mozambique games

The Super Eagles play Mozambique and Saudi Arabia later this month, and the squad for the games has been revealed

The Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) have released a squad of 25 players for the international friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique later this month, Soccernet reports.

Hatayspor star Fisayo Dele-Bashiru—who has had an impressive season with Turkish side Hatayspor, registering four goals and two assists in seven appearances—has earned himself a place in coach Jose Peseiro’s team.

Meanwhile, Gent star Gift Orban has not been called up. In his place, Nice star Terem Moffi has been called to the team after he was left out for the last game against Sao Tome and Principe. However, his teammate, Jordan Torunarigha kept his place on the team.

In attack, the usual suspects were invited. Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Moses Simon all keep their places.

According to the NFF, the camp will open on the 10th of October in Faro, Portugal. The game against Saudi Arabia will take place on the 13th of October before playing Mozambique three days later.
