The Nigeria international took the French champions apart at the Parc de Princes to underline his growing influence in the game
Former Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh has showered praises on Terem Moffi after his brilliant display for OGC Nice against Paris Saint Germain, Soccernet.ng reports.
All the pre-match spotlights had been on PSG forward Kylian Mbappe and the Frenchman did not disappoint as he scored two well-taken goals.
But Moffi managed to outshine the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner as he netted his own brace and added an assist to propel OGC Nice to a memorable 3-2 away win.
The Super Eagles striker gave Nice the lead with an expert left-footed finish before setting up his side’s second goal after an excellent dribble and pass.
The 24-year-old scored Nice’s third with another brilliant effort in the second half, with his celebration sending Mbappe into a fit of anger.
Moffi’s display, however, enthralled former Juventus and Ajax midfielder Oliseh.
Oliseh commended Terem’s intelligence, noting that not many attackers in the game could produce top quality finishes like the Super Eagles star.
Moffi’s showing against PSG earned him a spot in Sofascore’s Team of the Week in Ligue 1.
