‘Relax’– Super Falcons’ Alozie clears the air on being gay

Michelle Alozie has piqued the interest of some men on the social media space with her beauty and talents

Super Falcons forward, Michelle Alozie, has addressed questions about her sexuality after a photo on her social media sparked a debate, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian footballer recently shared a picture with a female friend, referring to her as her “husband” in the caption, leading to some  speculation about her sexual preferences.

After much discussion on the internet, Alozie took to X (formerly Twitter) to reassure her fans that she prefers men over women.

“I like guys. lol. relax,” she wrote on her to put any doubts to rest.

The Houston Dash defender also responded to claims that she is gay, emphasizing that there are more important issues to discuss in the world than her sexuality.

She added: “I promise you there are more important issues to discuss in the world than my sexuality. 🫠”

Alozie has gained attention in the football community for her talent and beauty, particularly after her involvement in an infamous incident with England star Lauren James during a match in the round of 16.

After the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Alozie has continued to impress at club level and established herself as a go-to player for the Super Falcons for any game.
