Oshoala, Ajibade headline Super Falcons list for Sao Tome and Principe fixture

The Super Falcons are looking to claim a tenth African crown, and they are set to begin their journey later this month

Barcelona star Asisat Oshoala and Atletico Madrid’s Rasheedat Ajibade are two of the 24 player that have been invited for the Super Falcons’ clash against Sao Tome and Principe in the 2023 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers, Soccernet reports.

Nigeria just finished from the World Cup, where they were painfully knocked out by England in the round of 16.

They would be looking to win a record-tenth Africa Women’s Cup of Nations title in Morocco next year.

The Super Falcons will begin their journey with a qualifying fixture against Sao Tome and Principe. And ahead of the fixture, the NFF has released a list of 24 players.

Barcelona star Oshoala and Paris FC women goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie retain their spots, while Onome Ebi, the captain of the team, is still available.
