Former Borussia Dortmund star, Jude Bellingham, is setting La Liga ablaze with his remarkable scoring prowess, Soccernet.ng reports.
In a recent match against a resilient Pepe Bordalas Getafe, Bellingham scored from close range, achieving a feat that hasn’t been seen in La Liga since the days of Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo. Reports from Madrid Universal highlighted this historic accomplishment.
Bellingham’s prowess in front of goal has not gone unnoticed, and teammate Brahim Diaz took time to hail the young midfielder following another of his stellar displays.
When asked about the ₤103 million man, the former Malaga star quoted by Madrid Universal said:
“With Jude, we had a connection off the pitch, from the very beginning. On the field too. He’s one of a kind.”
Head coach Carlo Ancelotti also didn’t hold back his praises for Bellingham. When asked if he has been surprised by the former Dortmund’s start to the season, quoted by Managing Madrid, he replied:
“His quality isn’t surprising anybody, but his number of goals is surprising. He scored around 15 with Dortmund last season, so I think he can reach that no problem. He’s very professional, and he has a lot of examples for professionalism in this squad.”
Ancelotti will hope Bellingham continues his brilliant form as the team faces powerhouse Real Sociedad in its first fixture after the international break.
