Cristiano Ronaldo makes history as he scores his 850th career goal in Al Nassr victory

The legendary forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al Nassr, has achieved a remarkable milestone in his illustrious career by becoming the first football player to score 850 goals, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 38-year-old achieved this feat during a Saudi Pro League match in which Al Nassr triumphed over Al Hazem with a convincing 5-1 scoreline. Ronaldo’s goal in this match marked his sixth goal in just three games for the Saudi club.

Ronaldo’s incredible impact on the team extended beyond scoring, as he also provided two crucial assists during the game.

Al Nassr’s victory secured their third consecutive win, and Ronaldo couldn’t hide his excitement, taking to social media to commend his team’s outstanding performance.

“Another great team performance! We keep improving. Let’s go @AlNassrFC … 850 career goals and still counting!” he wrote.

Ronaldo’s journey with Al Nassr has been nothing short of remarkable, with the Portuguese forward amassing an impressive 26 goals in his first 30 appearances across all competitions.

This statistic is particularly noteworthy as it is just one goal shy of the number he managed during the same number of games at the beginning of his iconic career with Real Madrid.

Ronaldo’s long-standing rivalry with Lionel Messi adds another layer of intrigue to this achievement, as Messi currently boasts 818 career goals.
