Naija boys doing magic! Orban and Torunarigha rescue draw for Gent in tough game against St. Truiden

The two Nigerian stars have been brilliant for Gent since the start of the season

Nigerian stars Gift Orban and Jordan Torunarigha scored for Gent to help them to a hard-fought 2-2 draw against St. Truiden at Ghelamco Arena, Soccernet reports.

Orban has been in great form for Gent this season, scoring five goals in his first five games amidst talks of a transfer to Tottenham. He was looking to continue his goalscoring run when his side welcomed St. Truiden to Ghelamco Arena.

However, Gent did not have the kind of start they would have wanted, as goals from Aboubakary Koita and Delorge-Kneiper gave St. Truiden the lead after 12 minutes

It looked like the visitors were going to run over Gent, but the Buffalos had other ideas.

Orban showed his brilliance again, linking up well with Tsuyoshi Watanabe, who set him up to pull one back for the Buffalos.

Gent were the better side for most of the game, but they had to wait till the second half before they got the vital equaliser. But this time, it was not Orban. It was another Nigerian defender Torunarigha who drew them level.

Orban played the entire match, but he failed to get the winner for his side, as it ended 2-2 at Gent.
