Wizkid: Afro-beat superstar shuts down Tottenham Hotspur Stadim with his musical concert

Wall-to-wall awards Nigerian artiste, Wizkid, last night, shut down the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in a musical spectacle.

 

Popular Nigerian Afro-beat superstar, Ayo Balogun, popularly called Wizkid, performed his More Love, Less Ego Musical Concert at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, Soccernet.ng reports.

Wizkid, who’s seen as a musical beacon, an idol to many, and definitely the fan favourite of millions of people who enjoy afro-beats all around the globe, lit up London for the fans with a mix of his stellar collection of songs, some bringing back the nostalgia of the old times, and the new ones also rocking the waves.

His performance in London makes him the first African artiste to perform at and headline at the 62,850-capacity Tottenham Stadium.

The thirty-three-year-old was also joined on stage by the Nigerian duo, The Cavemen, and another afrobeat artiste from America, Masego. Fans all over social media have reacted to the musical concert, congratulating him for the massive turnout at the event, alongside the musical masterclass that made their time worthwhile and enjoyable.

Other big stars like Arsenal’s winger, Bukayo Saka, Everton’s Alex Iwobi and Nigerian singer, Seyi Vibes also graced the stadium with their presence. Wizkid kicked off the More Love, Less Ego tour and performed songs like Ojuelegba, Show you the money, Essence, amongst many others.

For Nigerians back home, it was a proud moment to see one of their own do it on one of the biggest stages in the world, supported by all.
