Watch: Flying Eagles star joins Stefano Pioli‘s Milan for preseason tour

AC Milan are set to travel to the United States for their preseason tour ahead of their 2023-24 season campaign.

Flying Eagles midfielder, Victor Eletu, has earned a spot in AC Milan’s squad for the ‘Soccer Champions Tour’ 2023 in the United States of America, Soccernet.ng reports.

The talented Nigerian player is among the nine Primavera players selected to participate in the training sessions led by coach Stefano Pioli.

Recent rumours suggested that Eletu was seeking a move away from San Siro in search of regular playing time and a starting role.

However, AC Milan has shown their commitment to the young midfielder by including him in the training camp, indicating that they have a plan for his development.

A video captured Eletu preparing for the tour, as he was removing his bag from the car trunk before joining the rest of the team.

Watch the video here:

The tour will commence with training sessions at the Rossoneri sports centre, where the young midfielder will have the opportunity to showcase his skills and make a positive impression on coach Pioli.

Although several first-team players will join the squad later in the tour, Eletu will have the chance to work closely with Pioli and benefit from the guidance and expertise of the Primavera team under coach Ignazio Abate.

As an 18-year-old player, Eletu’s inclusion in AC Milan’s training camp demonstrates the club’s belief in his potential. If he seizes the opportunity and performs well during the tour, he could become an integral part of the team moving forward.
