Transfers: Al-Hilal make outrageous 110 billion naira offer for Super Eagles forward to rival Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr for title

Victor Osimhen has been one of the sought-after striker in the World after a remarkable season with Napoli that saw him win the Serie A top-scorer award

Saudi Professional League side Al-Hilal have reportedly made an offer to Napoli for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports

Osimhen, who has been a subject of speculations since the start of the transfer window, has a few years left on his contract. He has been linked with a big move away from Napoli just a few months after leading them to their first title in 33 years.

The 24-year-old continued from where he stopped last season with a brace in yesterday’s pre-season game against Hatayspor, which ended 4-0 in favour of the Partenopei. And Osimhen has revealed his willingness to continue with the club, but with an improved salary.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal are showing interest in bringing the Super Eagles striker to Saudi Arabia, and have been reported to have made an initial £130m to Napoli according to TMW

The Blue Waves recently showed interest in Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe but the Frenchman is not keen on the move.

Al-Hilal have now been forced to switch their focus to Osimhen following Mbappe’s refusal to open negotiations. The offer for the Nigerian was swiftly rejected by Napoli who value him at around £200m.

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has recently revealed that the club is not willing to sell Osimhen this summer and are currently working on tying him down on a long-term contract.

The 24-year-old was the star in Napoli’s success last season, scoring 31goals, as they claimed a first Scudetto in 33 years, and a last-eight in the Champions League for the first time in their history.
