Ronaldo’s Saudi Arabian club plan to hijack Chukwueze’s transfer to AC Milan

Chukwueze is on the brink of a transfer to AC Milan, but the deal could be stopped

Saudi Arabia Professional League club Al Nassr are planning to hijack Samuel Chukwueze’s transfer to AC Milan, Soccernet reports.

The 24-year-old forward had a decent campaign with Villarreal last season, registering 13 goals and eleven assists in 50 appearances. His displays attracted some top clubs in Europe, with Real Madrid, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Newcastle getting linked with him.

However, AC Milan have emerged as the frontrunners to sign the Nigerian winger, with talks suggesting that they have already agreed on personal terms with Chukwueze.

The Rossoneri have also agreed on a fee of around €28million with Villarreal for Chukwueze, but they are yet to complete the transfer.

However, Rudy Galeti reports that Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr want to hijack the transfer. The Saudi Arabian league has witnessed an influx of players from Europe as they have pumped a lot of money into player transfers.

To steal Chukwueze from AC Milan’s grasp, they would need to increase whatever the Serie A side has brought to the table. Chukwueze could even become the highest-paid Nigerian player. Still, the final decision would lie in the Nigeria international’s choice.

If Al Nassr manage to pull it off, Chukwueze would be united with Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo and former Inter Milan star Marcelo Brozovic.

you're suppose to confirm the authecity of the news before splitting beans, in addition Soccernet actually have one of the best football news around and kudos to them.

    • The news is true but Ac Milan has finalize everything, He is expected to join them this Friday, I don't think Chukwueze want to leave Europe now.

  • it's a beautiful thing that we now have our players in top European teams, we pray this keep coming and keep happening... Oshimen in Napoli, likely to end up at PSG, Chukwueze may end up at Milan, Boniface at Leverkusen, Bassey at Fulham and so on.

    I love that.
