Mahanaim FC announces transfer of promising Flying Eagles talent to Al Ain Club

The Flying Eagles star played a crucial role for Ladan Boss’s Flying Eagles at the 2023 U-20 FIFA World Cup

Mahanaim Football Club has officially confirmed the transfer of their talented player and Nigerian U20 forward, Haliru Sarki, to esteemed Asian club side Al Ain Club, Soccernet.ng reports.

The announcement comes as Sarki’s stock continues to rise after his impressive performance in the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.

Mahanaim FC expressed their delight with the deal and referred to it as a long-term project in a statement shared on their official Twitter account.

The transfer signifies a significant milestone in Sarki’s burgeoning career, having impressed with his performances on the international stage, particularly his crucial goal against Argentina.

The club extended their well-wishes to the starlet and his new club, expressing their hopes for success in the upcoming season.

The statement reads: “We have reached an agreement with a top Asian club side, @alainclub, for the transfer of our player and Nigeria U20 forward, Haliru Sarki.

“The deal is a long-term project, we are wishing Sarki and his new club success in the coming season.” 

The move to Al Ain Club presents Sarki with an exciting opportunity to hone his skills further and continue his footballing journey in a competitive and prestigious environment.
