Greater than Ronaldo! Osimhen becomes most expensive player in Serie A history

Osimhen has been amazing for the Partenopeans since last season, and he has gotten to a whole new high

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reached a valuation of €120million on Transfermarkt to become the highest-valued player in Serie A history, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen has been spectacular for Napoli since last season. The Super Eagles striker has craftily sealed his name in Serie A’s history books. He scored 31 goals in 39 games across three competitions.

Osimhen’s brilliance helped the Partenopeans to their first Serie A title in 33 years. To make the trophy triumph sweeter, Osimhen became the highest-scoring African in the league, eclipsing George Weah’s record.

The 24-year-old striker also broke Samuel Eto’o’s record for the highest number of goals by an African player in the Serie A.

Osimhen is a top target for many top European clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, PSG, and Bayern Munich. The former Lille man was previously valued at €100million per transfermarkt, but Napoli are looking to demand €150million for the Super Eagles.

However, that price could increase soon as Transfermarkt.com have now increased Osimhen’s value.

The Nigerian hitman is now €120million per Transfermarkt. This makes him the highest-valued player in Serie A history. Osimhen is now the fourth most expensive player in the world.
