Nigerians abroad: Moffi, Boniface net winners; Tijani unstoppable; Maja, Orban decisive; Oshoala red hot

Nigerian footballers have been making waves across various leagues, captivating fans with their extraordinary performances. From stunning goals to game-changing contributions, these talented stars are making their mark on the pitch.

In the Belgian top flight, Victor Boniface showcased his exceptional skills, scoring a sublime goal in the 41st minute for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. His crucial opener propelled his team to a convincing 2-1 victory over Club Brugge at the Jan Breydelstadion.

Gift Orban displayed his speed and precision in the Belgian Pro League, scoring an early goal in the 31st minute for KAA Gent in their impressive 2-1 away win against Standard Liege. The 20-year-old nearly grabbed a second goal straight from kickoff, but his audacious effort crashed off the cross-bar. 

Turning our attention to the Czech Republic, Rafiu Durosinmi made an impact as a substitute for Viktoria Plzen, finding the back of the net for his second goal in three games. Despite his contribution, Plzen settled for a thrilling 2-2 home draw against Slovacko. 

Mohamed Tijani continued his impressive form, netting his sixth goal in four games for Baník Ostrava. His outstanding performance was crucial in their resounding 4-0 victory over Zbrojovka Brno.

In the Premier League, Frank Onyeka demonstrated his importance to Brentford, although they suffered a narrow 1-0 loss away to Liverpool at Anfield.

Moving to France, Terem Moffi showcased his scoring prowess with a classy finish, securing his 16th Ligue 1 goal for OGC Nice in a narrow 2-1 victory over Rennes at home.

Josh Maja proved decisive for Girondins Bordeaux, assisting the winning goal in their hard-fought 1-0 triumph over Caen.

Nigerian international Rofiat Imuran delivered an outstanding performance for Stade de Reims, contributing a goal and an assist in their dominant 5-0 away victory against Le Havre in the Feminine Division 1.

Lastly, in the Primeira Division Femenina, Asisat Oshoala continued to shine for Barcelona, scoring a crucial goal in their commanding 5-2 victory against Real Sociedad.
