Italian agent reveals why Osimhen may not leave Napoli next summer

Osimhen has been brilliant this season, and he has attracted interest from some top clubs in Europe

Italian agent Oscar Damiani believes it would be difficult for Victor Osimhen to leave Napoli next summer because of Napoli’s €150million valuation, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen has had a remarkable season at Napoli, scoring 28 goals in 36 appearances for the Partenopeans in the run-up to their Scudetto win. In just three seasons in Italy, he has become the highest-scoring Nigerian in Serie A history.

The 24-year-old Nigerian goal poacher is currently one of the best strikers in Europe, and his displays have turned heads, especially the top sides.

However, Napoli are known to be stubborn when it comes to letting go of their star players. Club President Aurelio De Laurentiis has stated that Osimhen is not for sale, but if the club receives a big offer, they will let Osimhen go.

Napoli can dictate what happens at the moment, as Osimhen still has two years on his contract. And they could demand up to €150million.

Damiani, who is an agent believes Osimhen would have to remain at Napoli because no club would willingly pay €150million for Osimhen.

“There is no club in the world that can really offer this money(€150million) to Napoli. I’m sure Osimhen will stay another year in blue and will continue to be a point of reference for the club, Damiani said per Napoli Magazine.

Chelsea, PSG, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich are some of the clubs interested in Osimhen, and they may be able to afford that amount. However, they could go for relatively cheaper options like Randal Kolo Muani or Goncalo Ramos.
