Why Samuel Chukwueze’s transfer to Aston Villa may not happen despite Emery’s interest

Super Eagles star, Samuel Chukwueze, has lately been linked to some of the best teams in Europe as a result of his outstanding play for Villarreal this season.

His former coach, Unai Emery, is monitoring his development at the Estadio de la Cerámica, who will be competing for his signing in the forthcoming summer transfer, according to a previous report from Soccernet.ng.

However, according to another source, the Nigerian has caught the eye of Real Madrid President Fiorentina Perez, who is considering bringing him into Carlo Ancelotti’s team to partner with Vinicius Junior of Brazil.

Meanwhile, rumours suggest that the Super Eagles winger has informed his agent that he wants a move to Santiago Bernabéu, above moving to England or Italy.

Chukwueze, a 2018 addition to the Yellow Submarine from Nigeria, may be ready to advance in his career at this point. But, with his transfer to either Aston Villa or Real Madrid, there could be a slight hiccup.

The Nigerian’s contract with Villarreal runs until 2024, and it includes an €80 million buyout clause, which might prevent Real Madrid from offering more than €50 million to acquire him.

The same is true for Claret and Blue, whose club record expenditure has been the estimated £33 million spent for Emiliano Buendia. For the English team, paying Villarreal’s asking price does not seem to be a feasible option.

Aside from feeling at ease in Spain, Chukwueze was not a frequent starter under the former Arsenal manager while he was at Villarreal. And this may significantly limit his choices for moving to Aston Villa.

  • it better chukwueze moves to the best team in the world Real Madrid he has tried and worked so hard @ villa real he does not have to go to aston villa which is a struggling team in England especially with Unai Emery that almost Ruined his confidence when he was a coach @ villa real preferring Yerimy Pino to chukwueze tell me who does that . He should go to better clubs not struggling club. This was the kinf of mistake Onuachu made and he is almost going to the championship he was just crazy going to england leaving his title chasing club and he had been the highest goal scorer he would have won the golden boot league and more then a big and better club will come in but now he does not even have 20 minutes or even play a game for a relegated team. Chukwueze should go to a big and better club ,thats it.
