Samuel Chukwueze is reportedly interested in joining Real Madrid, despite interest from Italy and England

The Nigerian superstar joined Villarreal in 2018, and in 217 total outings since then, has scored 41 goals and given 33 assists

The Nigerian star, Samuel Chukwueze, has shown interest in joining Real Madrid to his agency despite interest from other top European clubs.

According to rumours, the 23-year-old is eager to emulate his hero, Cristiano Ronaldo, by joining the Whites despite interest from other elite European teams.

The Super Eagles forward reportedly informed his agent that he had ruled out moving to Italy or England and would accept any offer from the Madrid team.

The young winger has helped the Groguet become a menace to their opponents this season with his 13 goals and 11 assists while also assisting the side in securing a position in the European tournament.

Chukwueze reportedly drew the eye of Real Madrid’s president, who would be eager to add him to the team to support Carlo Ancelotti after his recent performance at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Given that elite teams are interested in him and that his contract is slated to expire in June 2024, he would definitely give Fernando Roig Alfonso a contentious summer.

Although, Real Madrid and other elite teams may not want to pay the Super Eagles attacker’s €80 million release clause in order to sign him.

However, despite having a release clause that might jeopardise his transfer to Real Madrid, the Nigerian has reportedly informed his agent that he would continue his career at the Santiago Bernabéu despite attention from the Italian league and the English league.
