Promising Nigerian star Gift Orban to spark a busy summer transfer window for Gent

The Nigerian has been a dynamo for Gent, scoring 14 goals so far this season

Nigerian attacker, Gift Orban, could be on the move away from KAA Gent in the upcoming summer transfer window following his performance.

Transfer Guru, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the Nigerian is expected to leave his Belgian club in the next transfer after only spending few months with them.

The Nigerian transferred from Stabaek Fotball to the Buffaloes at the conclusion of the January transfer window for around €3.30 million.

And so far his outstanding performance, including his 7 goals in less than four days and hat trick within five minutes, has several European clubs interested in signing him.

He just picked up where he left off by scoring twice and contributing an assist to Gents’ rout of RFC Seraing yesterday.

Following this, the Nigerian increased his total for the Ghent-based team’s Jupiler Pro League goals to 9 goals in 7 games and 14 goals overall.

Although, the young 20-year-old player has not concealed his ambition in playing for an English Premier League side, the market analyst claimed that the Nigerian’s remarkable performance has prompted several teams to keep an eye on him ahead of the next transfer window.

“Gift Orban expected to be on the move this summer. Nigerian striker has 14 goals and 2 assists for Gent 🇳🇬 #transfers. Understand 2002-born striker price tag could be more than €20m this summer with clubs already monitoring him.” he wrote.

The Nigerian star is presently valued at €20 million, and a large sum from any potential club may persuade his management to sell him off so that they can earn a tidy profit.
