Leao and Theo for AC Milan or Osimhen for Napoli: Ex-Italy striker reveals who adds more value to their team

Osimhen has been prolific for the Partenopeans this season, but Rafael Leao has also delivered the goods for AC Milan consistently

Former Italy international Alessandro Matri believes Rafael Leao and Theo Hernandez contribute more to AC Milan than Victor Osimhen does for Napoli Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen has been superb for Napoli this season, scoring 25 goals in 29 appearances. His brilliance and consistency has contributed to Napoli’s success this season.

The Partenopeans sit 1st in Serie A with a 16-point gap between them and second-placed Lazio.

Also, they are in the quarterfinals of the Champions League for the first time in their history- a feat they could not achieve even when the legendary Diego Amando Maradona was in the team.

However, retired Italy striker Matri believes that Milan stars Theo and Leao contribute more to their team.

“I have the feeling that Milan is much more tied to the performances of Leao and Theo than Napoli to those of Osimhen,” Matri said per Milan News.

“If Milan play a match in which Leao and Theo are not available, it will be more difficult than if Napoli play without Osimhen.”

Theo and Leao have combined for 14 goals and 15 assists this season. Osimhen alone has 30 goal involvements for Napoli.
