Bayern Munich ready to pay top dollar for Super Eagles striker Osimhen

The Bavarians are yet to get a reliable replacement for Robert Lewandowski, and they believe that Osimhen is their man

Bundesliga kings Bayern Munich are willing to pay €100million for the services of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli this summer Soccernet.ng reports.

Bayern Munich are yet to get a suitable replacement for Robert Lewandowski since he left for Barcelona last summer. Cameroonian striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has tried to fill the vacuum that the Polish man left at the club, but he has been found wanting occasionally. And as he is the only natural striker at the club, the Bavarians have had to deploy a false nine occasionally, with Serge Gnabry or Sadio Mane slotting in.

According to Plettigoal, Bayern Munich are very interested in Osimhen, and they want to sign him this summer. They have already opened talks with Napoli over a deal, and they are willing to pay €100million for the 24-year-old.

However, Napoli may not accept Bayern Munich’s bid as they would want to milk as much money as possible from potential suitors. The Partenopeans paid €72million to Lille for Osimhen’s services in 2020, and they would want to make a big profit especially as Osimhen is one of the best strikers in Europe.

Napoli may demand around €120million before they let go of Osimhen.
