Watch: Kanu Nwankwo’s wife reacts to Arsenal’s comeback win against Bournemouth

Arsenal came back from a two-nil deficit to outclass Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium

Amarachi Nwankwo, the wife of Kanu Nwankwo, has ardently backed her husband’s team in response to Arsenal’s comeback victory against Bournemouth.

The wife of the Super Eagles legend posted a video on her Instagram page where she expressed her unwavering love for the London team.

It was a bit of drama at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon as the Cherries worried the Gunners by taking the lead after only 9.11 seconds on Philip Billing’s goal.

Boscombe defender Marcos Senesi startled the home fans by giving the visitors the lead 57 minutes into the encounter.

Arsenal’s Thomas Partey scored a remarkable equaliser by volleying home from six yards as the match took a dramatic turn.

Ben White brought Michael Arteta’s team back into the game before Nelson smashed home from 25 yards in the seventh minute of stoppage time.

Following the lead, Arsenal maintained their five-point advantage over Manchester City at the top of the English Premier League standings following the latter’s triumph. Had Arsenal lost, their lead would have been trimmed to two points.

After the game, Kanu Nwankwo’s wife Amarachi shared a video of herself celebrating the triumph with the caption, “We ain’t going nowhere, Arsenal 3-2 Bournemouth.”

Her husband Kanu made 119 appearances and scored 30 goals while playing for the Islington-based team between 1994 and 2004. The Super Eagles great is still well-liked at Arsenal and receives cheers when he appears at the Emirates Stadium.
