Osimhen as a coach? Nigerian forward names the manager he aspires to be like

With 18 points in the lead in Serie A, the Neapolitans are presently enjoying a fantastic season campaign.

The Super Eagles talisman, Victor Osimhen, has revealed the manager he would imitate if he ever becomes a coach.

The Nigerian stated that Luciano Spalletti, who is presently guiding the Parthenopeans to an 18-point lead at the top of the Serie A standings, is someone he would want to emulate.

Apart from their early Coppa Italia loss, Napoli is presently having a strong season, winning 21 games, drawing 2, and only losing 1—a match against Inter Milan.

The Little Donkeys, who defeated Eintracht Frankfurt in the Round of 16’s first leg, are now making headway to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.

It should be remembered that Spalletti’s team had a rough run last year, finishing third in the Italian Serie A while exiting the Champions League and the Coppa Italia in the quarterfinal round. They won 11 games, drew three, and lost five.

The Italian manager, whom the 24-year-old stated he would want to aspire to be like if he ever becomes a coach, is the only one to get all the praise for Blues’ outstanding performance this year.

“Everyone’s conviction serves for the collective. And when you believe in it, you feel strong, when you are strong you win. Then there is the coach, who represents the brains of the team. You know one thing I think about? If I were to be a coach someday, I would like to be like him [Luciano Spalletti].” Osimhen said, as quoted by TuttoNapoli.

The Nigerian, as well, has been delivering outstanding performances for the Italian side, scoring 19 league goals and 21 goals overall this season.

The Super Eagles talisman, will, however, be looking to add more to his goal tally when the Gli Azzurri welcome Lazio to the Diego Maradona stadium.
