“He’s the best of all” – Ex-Lazio ace compares Napoli’s Osimhen and Atalanta’s Hojlund

The Nigerian international and the Danish youngster are two of the most prominent forward in the Italian top flight but one is agreed to be way ahead of the other

Former Lazio and Sampdoria striker Fabio Bazzani has compared Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund ahead of the two teams’ clash at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on March 11th.

During an appearance on Radio Marte’s ‘Marte Sport Live‘, Bazzani praised Hojlund’s abilities and predicted that the young striker could become one of Europe’s best in a few years.

However, he also emphasized that Osimhen is currently the better player and the most complete striker in the league, making him difficult to mark inside and outside the box.

Osimhen is Serie A’s standout striker with 19 league goals, while Hojlund has managed six goals in 21 games for Atalanta.

What has been said?

“How is Hojlund? He is very strong; he can be an heir to Osimhen, and he is a player who is already complete despite his age,” Bazzani said.

“Hojlund has power, good technique, needs improvement, has depth and is respected in the area. After all, Atalanta paid him a lot despite being born in 2003. In a few years, he will be among the best strikers in Europe.

“Sure, for now, Osimhen is another thing, he’s complete, and the best of all. You don’t know how to mark him because in the box and from afar, he’s formidable anyway.”

Napoli, who are currently the league leaders after losing only two games in the first 25 matches, will be looking to extend their lead when they host Atalanta in what is expected to be an exciting encounter between two of Serie A’s top teams.

Atalanta, on the other hand, will be hoping to close the gap on fourth-place Roma, having won only one of their last six matches in all competitions.

The upcoming match will be a true test for both teams, with each possessing a wealth of talent and a strong desire to win.

Napoli’s Osimhen (Brazil’s most beloved) and Atalanta’s Hojlund will be two players to watch, with their performances potentially having a significant impact on the outcome of the match.
