“He is growing” – Agent speaks on Ademola Lookman’s performance despite goal drought

Ademola Lookman switched from RB Leipzig to Atalanta BC last summer

Italian agent, Giuseppe Pisano, has revealed that the Nigerian international, Ademola Lookman, is flourishing under Gian Piero Gasperini’s tutelage.

The Super Eagles attacker moved from RB Leipzig to Atalanta last summer on a four-year deal for an estimated of €15 million.

The Nigerian star, according to the Italian, is improving week by week under his new boss, as seen by his double-digit goals during this 2022–23 season campaign.

The former Leicester City star established himself in the league by scoring against Sampdoria in his league debut. Since then, he has been on fire for the Nerazzurri, tallying 12 goals and dishing out 5 assists in 24 games in the Italian league.

Yet, the former Everton player’s most recent goal came in January during Atalanta’s home match against Sampdoria at the Gewiss Stadium.

Despite his goalless streak, Pisano claimed that the Nigerian forward is progressing under his Italian coach and that he would pose a greater danger to rivals in the league when speaking to Tuttomercatoweb for a piece titled “A face to face”.

“Thanks to Gasperini, he is growing week after week, and we are sure that he will be even more of a protagonist.” As reported by TuttoAtalanta, he said.

Atalanta’s most recent win came on February 11 when they visited Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. When the Orobici travels to the Diego Maradona stadium to take on the league-leading Napoli, Lookman will be ready to lead his team back to winning ways.
