Four-time Champions League winner talks up Osimhen-Khvicha partnership

Kvaratskhelia just joined Napoli last summer, but he has formed a superb partnership with Osimhen

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has been impressed by the chemistry between Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and Georgian wonderkid Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Napoli let go of some of their best players last summer. Long-serving stars Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens, and Kalidou Koulibaly all left the club.

Club President Aurelio De Laurentiis then decided to invest in young, relatively unknown players, and his decision has paid off.

Kim Min-Jae and Kvaratskhelia are some of the new lads who just joined and have started performing wonders.

While Min-Jae has been one of the best defenders in the league, Kvaratskhelia has excelled in the attack.

The 22-year-old attacker has formed a strong partnership in attack with Super Eagles striker Osimhen.

The duo have combined for 34 goals and 20 assists this season. And their link-up in the final third has been key to Napoli’s success. Real Madrid coach Ancelotti has been impressed with what he has seen so far.

“Kvaratskhelia is a great player, he is doing well in Naples and the partnership with Osimhen is very very effective,” the four-time Champions League winning coach said per Tutto Napoli.

Both stars have been heavily linked with some top clubs in Europe. Osimhen has been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and PSG. While his Georgian teammate has been linked with Real Madrid and PSG.

However, Napoli are unwilling to let them leave except a very sumptuous offer comes.
