Super Falcons storm Mexico ahead of four-nation Revelation Cup

At the next FIFA World Cup competition, which will take place in July, the nine-time African champions have been paired up against Canada, Australia, and Ireland.

The Nigerian Super Falcons have arrived in Leon State of Guanajuato, Mexico, in preparation for their four-nation women’s revelation Cup.

Colombia, Mexico, and the United States are also participating in the pre-World Women’s Cup event with Randy Waldrum’s girls.

The Super Falcons’ first game is against Mexico on Wednesday at 10 p.m. The team’s last game is against Costa Rica on February 21.

Although names of players who arrived at the Super Falcons camp have not been disclosed, yet, the team’s social media handler have announced their arrival.

“SETTLING DOWN IN LEON 📍 Our first recovery session ahead of our opening match of the inaugural Revelation Cup tournament against the hosts Mexico on Wednesday 🔥” the tweet reads.

Last year, Waldrum’s girls had a poor run as Zambia’s Shepolopolo, who took third place bronze at WAFCON 2022, showed them the exit.

Following this, the manager will be looking to return the girls back to winning ways, with the Women’s World Cup slated to hold in New Zealand and Australia in July.

For the WWC finals, Waldrum’s squad is placed in a group alongside Canada, Australia, and Ireland.
