Report – Napoli forward Osimhen is back in full training, ready for Eintracht Frankfurt UCL clash

After scoring in their Serie A match against Sassuolo with a score of 2-nil, Victor Osimhen was seen hobbling off the field.

Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has returned to training with his Napoli colleagues after assuring supporters that there was no need to be concerned about his limp.

In advance of their Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt, Napoli formally announced to the public that the Nigerian international trained in full session with the team.

Soccernet.ng earlier reported that the Super Eagles star reportedly batted off injury fears as he hobbled off the pitch while clutching his leg during their 2-nil victory against Sassuolo on Friday night,

Following this, the club shared images of him practising with his teammates before they march on to Deutsche Bank Park for Tuesday night clash against Frankfurt.

“The Azzurri are preparing for the match against Eintracht Frankfurt scheduled for Tuesday at the Deutsche Bank Park for the first leg of the eighth-finals of the Champions League (9pm). The team trained on field 3 and started the session with activation and bull. Subsequently, the group played a small match on a small field. Closing with tactical technical work. Osimhen spent the entire session with the team. Tomorrow morning training and then departure for Frankfurt.” says the club’s website’s statement.

Osimhen, who has 18 goals in 19 domestic league games and 19 goals overall, is the highest scorer in Serie A. When they play the Eagles, the Nigerian will be raring to score more goals in the Champions League.
