Promising Nigerian midfielder teams up with Valladolid

The youngster impressed during his time in Nigeria, and the Blanquivioleta have secured his services

Spanish Laliga club Real Valladolid have announced the signing of promising Nigerian attacker Jimoh Babatunde on an 18-month deal.

Jimoh impressed during his time at Nigerian third-division league Club Valiant FC. He completed the most dribbles and had four goals to his name.

The 19-year-old midfielder also recorded the highest assist in the league last season.

Jimoh also had a short stint with Swedish Superettan club Vasalunds.

The exciting youngster has now sealed a big move as Laliga side Real Valladolid have announced that they have secured his services till June 2024.

Nonetheless, Jimoh will still be with the junior team in the meantime. Still, he could fancy his chances of climbing up the ranks and playing for the Blanquivioleta in Laliga.

Valladolid sit 17th in Laliga, and they have struggled for goals this season. They have scored just 14 goals in 19 games.
