The Nigerian international is in the third and easily the best year of his five-year contract with the Neapolitans
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is one goal short of unlocking the first financial clause in his Napoli contract, which could see him pocket several thousand euros.
Napoli made Osimhen the most expensive African player in history when the Italians paid LOSC Lille €75 million and included a couple of players in the deal that jacked the package above 80 million euros.
Also included in the five-year contract were milestones that could see more money flow from Napoli’s purses into Osimhen’s pockets when reached.
One of those set milestones mandated Napoli to pay Osimhen €130,130 (approx. NGN64 million) should the Nigerian forward score 20 goals in a season.
Osimhen only scored ten league goals in his first term in Naples and followed it with 18 goals (14 in Serie A, 4 in Europa League) in his second year.
The 2022/2023 campaign has, however, seen an extraordinary Osimhen tearing defences apart and netting spectacular goals with incredible regularity.
Despite missing a month due to injury, Osimhen is the top scorer in Serie A with 18 goals in 19 appearances. He notched another strike in the Champions League, bringing his tally to 19.
And according to Corriere dello Sport (via Tutto Napoli), the Super Eagles forward will earn his first bonus when he scores another goal to meet the 20-goal-a-season milestone in his contract.
Osimhen will unlock a similar bonus when he scores 25 goals.
The 24-year-old attacker has found the net in his last seven appearances in Serie A, the latest being a stunning strike in Napoli’s 2-0 win over Sassuolo.

I'm so much happy with his present form my prefer for him is injury free throughout this season and the next coming.
but my advice for him not make the same mistake the ex Nigeria player always made cos they'll play for Money not for honour
Christiano Ronaldo, Leonel messi, Karim Benzema, Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto'o sagio mane and so on they all played for honey if he continues the way he's presently play definitely he will improve to better and became one of the greatest all time scorer
