Chelsea legend Drogba shares what he said to Victor Osimhen

The Nigerian attacker has previously expressed his admiration for the former Chelsea star’s style of play

Chelsea great, Didier Drogba, has claimed that he is aware that Nigerian international Victor Osimhen considers him to be his hero and that he sent him a message.

Despite not having met the Super Eagles player, the Ivorian legend said he had advised him to keep playing the way he had been, which had been excellent.

The 24-year-old has often made it known to the public that he looks up to the former Chelsea player and considers him to be an example of how to play the game.

Osimhen has the level of the former Ivorian international, Jose Mourinho said previously while comparing the two to soccernet.ng.

He may have learned this from him, and as a result, he has scored a significant amount of goals in the Italian Serie A.

The Nigerian, meanwhile, recently moved his remarkable performance to the Champions League by scoring a goal against Eintracht Frankfurt at the same stadium where Austin Jay Jay Okocha made history.

In response to the performance, the former Galatasaray player said that he knows Osimhen views him as his role model and has given him his support during a discussion on the Champions League on Canal+ Sports.

“I know that Osimhen described me as his model. We never met but one day I wrote to him complimenting him. I sent him a message and told him to continue like this.” As reported by SpazioNapoli, Drogba remarked

The Nigerian will be back in action when his team travels to Empoli, and he is eager to continue his outstanding Serie A top-flight performance.
