The two Super Eagles stars have scored goals aplenty this season, and their influence cannot be overlooked
Super Eagles strikers Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman are in the top five of players’ goal involvement per team.
Nigeria international Ademola Lookman just arrived at Atalanta in the summer, but he has taken to Italian football like fish to water.
Lookman has found the net seven times, two of which have been from the penalty spot. The Nigerian has been deadly, converting all his spot-kicks with aplomb.
His seven goals for La Dea ensure that he ranks first among players’ goal involvement for their teams in Serie A
Lookman’s seven-goal contribution amounts for 31.8 of Atalanta’s goals this season as they have scored just 22 goals.
Meanwhile, compatriot Victor Osimhen is fourth on the list. The 23-year-old hitman accounts for 24.3 percent of Napoli’s goals this season.
Osimhen has scored nine of Napoli’s 37 goals in Serie A this season despite being out for a month because of an injury.
Others in the top five are Paulo Dybala(27.8 percent), Dusan Vlahovic(25 percent), and Ciro Immobile (23.1).
