Transfers: Spurs could snap up Osimhen if Kane leaves

The Super Eagles star has been outstanding for Napoli, and he has attracted some of Europe’s top sides

English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur could try to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen if Harry Kane leaves.

Osimhen has been a standout performer for Napoli since last season. During the last summer transfer window,  Osimhen was linked with some top European sides.

Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Newcastle were reportedly keeping tabs on the former Lille man.

However, a transfer was unable to take place because of Aurelio De Laurentiis’ €100-€120million price tag.

Despite the transfer talks, Osimhen has been banging in goals aplenty this season. The Nigeria international has recorded nine goals in 13 appearances for the Partenopeans this season.

Apparently, talks about Osimhen’s future has not died down, as The Sun reports that Tottenham could move to sign him if Harry Kane leaves the club.

What is Harry Kane’s transfer situation?

Harry’s future has been in the balance in recent seasons. Two seasons ago, it looked as though the Englishman was going to dump Tottenham for Manchester City, but a transfer failed to happen.

Bayern Munich are currently without a capable goal-poacher after Robert Lewandowski left for Barcelona last summer.

The Bavarians need to fill the void left by the Polish attacker, and they have been reports that they are looking at Kane.

Bayern Munich have never denied their interest in Kane, and they could exploit the possibility of signing him, especially as his contract expires at the end of next season.

Kane has never won silverware at Tottenham, and his desire to win trophies may push him to leave North London for a bigger team that can challenge for trophies.

  • That's not possible osihmen can never leave for spurs. its a no go area Even if kane leaves . Both him and Napoli will turn it down so stop the news. There are better Clubs and if he wants to even leave to a lower club it would be Newcastle.
