One-cap Super Eagles star could join Osimhen at Napoli

The young Super Eagles wing-back has impressed during his time in Turkey, and the Partenopeans seem interested in adding him to their roster

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen could get a Nigeria teammate at Napoli soon as the club is monitoring Bright Osayi-Samuel’s situation at Fenerbahce.

Osayi-Samuel left English football for the Turkish Super Lig last January, and he has grown in leaps and bounds.

The Okija-born wingback has been a brilliant addition to the Fenerbahce side, making 83 appearances and recording three goals and six assists.

Osayi-Samuel has impressed so much that in less than two years, his value as per transfermarkt has risen from just over €500,000 to €9million.

Well, the 24-year-old versatile player’s hardwork has not gone unnoticed, and he could be on his way out of Fenerbahce.

According to Futbolder, the Partenopeans are keeping tabs on Osayi-Samuel, and they could move for him next summer.

Osayi-Samuel could be a real asset, as he can play in midfield and defense.

Napoli have done business with Fenerbahce recently, as flying defender Kim Min-Jae was bought from the former Turkish champions for €18.5million last summer.

Osayi-Samuel is currently valued at €6million, and Napoli could go all out for him to add some quality to the team.

The 24-year-old played his first game for Nigeria in their 4-0 loss to Portugal on the 17th of November.
