Nigeria Vs Portugal: Serie A stars Osimhen, Lookman headline Peseiro’s 23-man squad

The Super Eagles will not be at the World Cup, but they will have a chance to give the fans some joy when they square off against Portugal 

Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has invited 23 players for the international friendly against Portugal on the 17th of November.

Serie A stars Victor Osimhen, Tyrone Ebuehi, and Ademola Lookman headline the list of 23 players.

Nigeria play Portugal at the Estadio Jose Alvalade on the 17th of November as part of the preparatory games for the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.

The Super Eagles will be absent from the Mundial, but they will look to make an impression under coach Jose Peseiro.

Ahead of the fixture, the Portuguese tactician has named a strong 23-man squad.

Empoli fullback Tyrone Ebuehi and Genk hitman Paul Onuach return to the team after failing to make subsequent selections.

Also, Boavista defender Bruno Onyemaechi and Fenerbahce right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel got their first National team call-ups.
