What did Super Falcons star Oshoala say on Vinicius’ dance controversy?

The Super Falcons star and Barcelona Femeni forward added her voice to Vinicius Jnr’s ongoing dance debacle in Spain

Asisat Oshoala has added her voice to support Vinicius’ dance moves after he was asked by an agent to “stop playing the monkey”.

The agent expressed his pain and disgust for Vinicius’ dance move after the Brazilian scored against Real Mallorca last week.

Prior to Real Madrid’s 2-1 win against Atletico Madrid in the local derby, Oshoala tweeted in support of the Brazilian and asked him to join the group dance.

Many Brazilian stars have leapt in defence of Vinicius Jnr since he was racially abused and this weekend, Gabriel Jesus, Neymar and Rodrygo all scored and danced to support their compatriot.

Oshoala on her part said the world will adjust, and asked Vinicius to keep on doing what makes him happy.

“The point here is that, the world will always try to force you to accept their belief but STAY FIRM, STAY YOU as far as you ain’t hurting no one. The world will adjust !!!”

Vinicius has been one of Real Madrid’s best players in the last two years having joined from the Brazilian league.

The Spanish league has seen some cases of racism in the past and Vinicius’ brings the situation to light again, despite the growth seen in recent years.

The Barcelona Femeni forward has recuperated from her injury and is expected to vie for the Pichichi again after emerging winner last year.
