‘Focused on my positives but thankful for my critics’- rejuvenated Super Eagles star

The Super Eagles star is currently having the time of his life, and he is only focused on getting better

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has expressed his determination to stay focused rather than dwelling on negativity.

Iwobi has been outstanding in the last six months. In fact, the Super Eagles star’s rejuvenation could be considered the eighth wonder of the world. The 25- year-old has gone from being one of the most taunted players to become the chief cornerstone at Goodison Park.

Iwobi has been getting a lot of plaudits lately- from being selected in match week 8 team by Alan Shearer, to getting nominated for the Player of the Month for September.

The former Arsenal man is currently with the Super Eagles squad ahead of the international friendly against Algeria. And he has a lot of belief in himself and he is only interested in getting better.

“Focused on my positives but thankful for my critics”- Iwobi shared on twitter.

Iwobi would look to continue with his brilliance when the Super Eagles square off against the Desert Foxes on the 27th of September.
