The Super Eagles striker struggled in his first four games of the season, but he is back to his best
Super Eagles striker Anthony Ujah scored his second consecutive goal for Eintracht Braunschweig, but it was not enough as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Hannover.
Ujah was on the scoresheet for Braunschweig when they defeated Nurnberg 4-2 in the Bundesliga 2 last week. and he looked to continue in that form away at Hannover.
The first half was blunt for both teams, and they were unable to break the deadlock at halftime.
However, both teams turned the corner in the second period. Ujah took the initiative for the visitors in the 69th minute, scoring off an assist from Danilo Wiebe. He was then substituted for Lion Lauberback in the 75th minute.
Unfortunately for Eintracht Braunschweig, the lead did not last, as Harvard Nielsen drew level for Hannover in the 77th minute.
Both teams put up a string defensive front, ensuring that it ended 1-1 at the Heinze-von-Heiden-Arena.
