24 players now in Super Eagles camp ahead of Algeria clash

All invited players invited to the Super Eagles excluding those who have been declared injured are in Constantin ahead of Nigeria’s friendly against Algeria

Twenty-four players have made it to Constantin, camp of the Super Eagles ahead of their clash against Algeria.

Francis Uzoho was the last player to hit camp after Kelechi Iheanacho and Ebube Duru arrived earlier on Wednesday.

Jose Peseiro now has a full house to work with ahead of the friendly game. The absence of star names like Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze will give the coach an opportunity to see other players in the team.

Forwards, Terem Moffi and Cyriel Dessers are in camp while Taiwo Awoniyi may play for the first time under Peseiro.

Winger Godwin Saviour will also have a chance to impress the Super Eagles coach while Kevin Akpoguma has also made a return after being snubbed by Austin Eguavoen.

Valentine Ozornwafor will have a chance to also fight for a place in the team as he’s one of the very few left-footed centre halves in the team.

Goalkeeper, Adebayo Adeleye is in camp again and will hope to make his first Super Eagles appearance this time.

Other regular names like Kenneth Omeruo, Chidozie Awaziem, Wilfred Ndidi, Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi and Ola Aina are also in the team to face the Algerians.
