The Super Eagles hitman has been absent for about a month, but his boss has provided an encouraging update
Genk coach Wouter Vrancken has stated that he is clueless as to when Paul Onuachu would return to action, but he added that the Super Eagles striker is getting better.?
Onuachu has been out of action since July because of an adductor injury he sustained in Genk’s preseason 2-1 victory against FC Utrecht.
The former Belgian Golden boot winner missed out on his side’s first two games of the new Jupiler League season.
However, after almost a month on the treatment table, Genk boss Vrancken is still unsure about when Onhachu would be fit to return to action.
“It’s hard to know what level of form he is in,” Vrancken said as per Walfoot.
“He arrived later in the preparation and only played 45 minutes against Heist. The adductor injury also hampered his preparation, although it seems to be getting better and better.”
The Limburgers would be without their talismanic striker when they face Eupen on Saturday. But they would hope that Dessers who has been in sparkling form in the opening two games of the season would be in top shape
