The Super Eagles star was sent out of Napoli’s training session on Monday, but he is back in action for his side
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen returned to training with Napoli on Tuesday, after coach Luciano Spalletti sent him off during a training session on Monday.
The Napoli boss told Osimhen to “take a shower” during a training session at their Castel di Sangro preseason camp. The 23-year-old was angered by a poor tackle from Napoli’s new signing Leo Ostigard.
The Nigerian striker’s unreserved complaints prompted Spalletti to send him out of training.
However, according to CalcioNapoli as per Gazzetta dello Sport, Osimhen has resumed training, and Napoli boss Spalletti quelled the tension in the team by speaking to the players.
Osimhen was all smiles during training, which lays to rest but means that there is peace in camp.
The Partenopeans have already played two games in the preseason, emphatically beating Anaunia and Perugia.
Napoli play next on Wednesday against Adana Demirspor. And Osimhen would look to outdo compatriot Henry Onyekuru, who just joined the Turkish side this summer.
