Why I snubbed Manchester United for Crystal Palace – Nigeria-eligible Ebiowei

Nigeria-eligible forward has revealed the reasons for his move to London over Manchester United

Malcolm Ebiowei has said he saw a lot of interest in Crystal Palace and that’s why he chose the Eagles over Manchester United.

According to Manchestereveningnews player said he was given a lot of support at Derby County where he shone and did enough to spark Premier League interests.

“I’d like to thank everyone at Derby County for their incredible support over the last year or so, and for giving me the opportunity to show what I can do on the field, and I’d also like to thank the fans for their encouragement especially given the circumstances of last season. As everyone is aware the situation is very uncertain at Derby, so it was important for me to secure my long-term future,” he said.

“I’m incredibly excited about the prospect of joining Palace, as they have an incredible squad and huge potential. I very much hope to contribute positively to the team this season.”

Ebiowei played for the Rams 16 times last season and did well but Derby County got relegated following a massive points deduction.
