Super Eagles star poised for Premier League switch as London club intensifies interest

The former Chelsea player is strongly linked with a return to London following interest from the Eagles

Ola Aina is poised for a Premier League switch with Crystal Palace reported as his most likely destination.

The former Chelsea defender enjoyed a good spell on loan at Fulham last season but couldn’t save the Cottagers from relegation. Fulham are now back in the Premier League but the strongest interests in Aina’s services have come from Selhurst Park.

Patrick Vieira is believed to be an admirer of the Nigerian and a bid in the region of €10-12m is expected to be submitted in the coming days.

Palace are in a comfortable position to sign Aina according to Torino Granata.

The Super Eagles star is also interested in the move as his family and friends are in London and has always seen himself in the Premier League.

Aina has had a topsy-turvy time in Turin having struggled for playing time since he returned from an individually-impressive outing at the AFCON in Cameroon.

His Premier League experience is also considered a significant reason for Palace’s interest in his services.
