Oshoala guns for third Spanish Cup final as Barcelona face Real Madrid in El Clasico

The Blaugranes would be looking to get one over their Madrid rivals, and Oshoala could play a crucial role

Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala would be looking to battle for her Barcelona Femeni side when they battle Real Madrid Femeni in the semifinals of the Spanish Copa de la Reina. And a victory for the 27-year-old would ensure that she makes a third consecutive Spanish Cup final.

Oshoala has had a brilliant campaign with the Blaugranes. Asides from their loss to Lyon in the Champions League finals, Barcelona have had a blistering campaign, ending the league season without a draw or defeat.

They had an imperial league campaign, gathering all possible 90 points from 30 league games with an unbelievable +148 goal difference, +119 more than second-place Sociedad. Oshoala was brilliant, recording twenty goals and three assists in the league.

Barcelona would look to put the disappointing Champions League final behind them and beat Madrid when they lock horns on Wednesday. The Blaugranes have already won Real Madrid Femini five times this season, and they would look to make it six.

A victory for the Primera Division champions would take them to their third consecutive Copa final, where they will battle Sporting Huelva. Asisat would be looking to claim her ninth major trophy with the club.
