The Barcelona Femeni attacker joined other fans in trolling Manchester United after another heavy loss to Liverpool
Super Falcons attacker, Asisat Oshoala posted a veiled dig aimed at Manchester United after the Red Devils lost 4-0 to eternal rivals Liverpool.
Oshoala, who is a United fan, on Twitter trolled her favourite team and said even Watford didn’t lose 4-0 to Liverpool.
The former Liverpool Ladies forward’s post was met with funny comments as rival fans enjoyed their banter of Manchester United.
”Even watford no chop 4,” Oshoala posted on Twitter.
Liverpool have twice dismantled Manchester United this season, first defeating them 5-0 at Old Trafford before tonight’s 4-0 win at Anfield.
It’s the heaviest defeat Manchester United have suffered at Anfield in the Premier League era. It’s also the first time the Red Devils have conceded nine goals against any team in the Premier League.
The win means Liverpool are top of the Premier League log pending the outcome of Manchester City’s game against Brighton on Wednesday.
The Reds are two points ahead of their closest rivals in the race for the league title having played one game more.
Did Liverpool defeat Watford 4-0?
Contrary to Oshoala’s cheeky claim, Liverpool thrashed Watford 5-0 at Vicarage Road earlier in the season.
The Hornets also lost 2-0 at Anfield in the second leg and may have been the game referred to by Oshoala.
Manchester United lie 6th on the log at the moment, tied on points with Arsenal in fifth, but with inferior goals difference.
