“Lovely stadium in Vancouver. It’s gonna be exciting tomorrow,” Rasheedat Ajibade tweeted on Thursday.
The Super Falcons have lined up two friendly games against Olympic champions, Canada as part of preparations for the African Women Cup of Nations.
Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum took the players through their paces and engaged in tactical briefs ahead of the game.
There are currently seventeen players in camp with four more to join. The players to team up with the Super Falcons in Canada are; Paris FC goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie and her goalkeeping teammate, Tochukwu Oluehi.
Amanda Mbadi and Peace Efih will also team up with the rest of the squad for the games to be held on the 8th and 11th of April respectively.
The players went round the turf at the BC Place in Vancouver and looked to enjoy the feel of the stadium.
Many foreign-based professionals have been invited for the game against Canada including new captain Onome Ebi, Rita Chikwelu, Rasheedat Ajibade, Uchenna Kanu, Ashleigh Plumptre, Yetunde Balogun and a host of others.
